A brand new study has revealed that people are most likely to improve their mental health by exploring the great outdoors.
A recent poll of 2 000 People revealed that the best ways to relieve the stress of everyday life are spending time outdoors (50%) or visiting the beach (44%) or taking a trip (44%) as well as getting enough sleep (44%) and eating a healthy diet (42%). The survey was conducted by OnePoll in conjunction with retail brand Reef to discover how people like to relax and unwind, according to South West Information Service.

According to the study, 41 percent of respondents said that they felt recharged after spending time with their family (whether in person or via video chat), while meditation (35 percent) and exercise (39%) were other common ways for people to let off steam.

To go one step further, 32% of respondents claimed to unplug all of their devices at some future time, during the day. They were looking for mental peace.

The most popular ways to relax on the beach are taking a walk (53%) listening to the waves of the ocean (47%) and listening music (46%) as well as reading a book (43%) and lying out in the sun (42%)
